Excellent book. I know the dog personally and it is so creative to see him come to life in this version. Love the real pictures and the caricatures of read for kids getting ready for school to let them know that school is not a scary place but is oh so fun with a great many new activities to learn and new friends to first day of school activities is a great 5/5(1).
I read Chaucer at school and mainly got an idea that he was quite comic and a bit knockabout. So I've been delighted to read this book and discover how wonderful and complex Chaucer's poetry really was, within the Canterbury Tales and in poem after poem that I had no idea about and which Turner makes vivid and fascinating/5(36).
